Why do mothers feel the need to tidy under teenage boy's (and occasionaly adults) beds?

Don't they know they won't find anything of their Business there?


and on an unrelated topic, do most mothers know where their kid's secret porn stash is.Why do mothers feel the need to tidy under teenage boy's (and occasionaly adults) beds?
Considering that most teenagers use their floors as a dumping ground, and refuse to pick up after themselves, it is only fair to expect a mum to go and hoke out the debris to check there are no bodies under there.





And by the way, there isn't a hiding place you can think of that a woman can't find - there it is!! The simple answer is - tidy your own damned room and she won't need to go under your bed!!Why do mothers feel the need to tidy under teenage boy's (and occasionaly adults) beds?
Maybe they're looking for a little bit of new reading material for themselves ;-D
because we guys never keep our beds clean?

Also, we tidy under the beds because that's where half the dishes in the house end up, as well as some other things.
i clean everywhere in my son's room, especially under his bed b/c he never cleans there. hopefully i never find the porn stash. i don't go in his room looking for anything other than dust bunnies on the loose, lol!!
lol when i have kids i probably do it outa noseyness :)

Cuz I'm the Mommy, that's why, and as long as I'm buying your food,clothing, and shelter you will by God have a tidy space under your bed so I don't have to look at the filth growing there every time I pass your room. AND, IF my child had a porn stash, I would know. But none of them do. They are too young yet, thank God.

Umm because teen boys also leave pizza crust and soda cans under there. if you are asking about between the sheets, because your mom and dad pay the bills and have a right to be sure you don't have any ';stash'; of any sort.... its there house.. want privacy? turn 18 get a job and tidy under your own bed. I have two boys young now, but I can assure you their rooms will be tossed on a regular basis. Its not about being mean... didn't you all watch in horror as the parents of the columbine kids said, ';We didn't know what they were doing in there room? we didn't know they had guns...'; we'll I'll know, and If I don't like it I'll toss it, and if its real bad we'll just have a little sit down and chat about it.....

All those dirty magazines belong out with the trash!
Did you ever consider they aren't looking for anything, they are actually trying to keep the house clean and dust free?
My mother never did that with my brother. I suppose she figured it was HIS mess to clean up, not her's.

I remember when my son was old enough for me to turn over my old ';skin bin'; to him. It was a proud day for me, and he said I was a really cool dad.
