Do you have a dry face?
Try Cetaphil. It's non-comedogenic, that means it won't clog your pores.
If cocoa butter works, and isn't giving you zits, keep it up.
Find yorself a good woman , forget face lotions.
Nivea make a face wash which helps clean pores and this in turn could help reduce the onset of pimples. My son uses it every day...... he is nearly 17 and has been lucky to be generally without pimples all through puberty.
Neutrogena makes some good products. They make stuff for troubled skin, as well as stuff for men.
I use Aloe Vera Cream for dry skin on my face
Loreal Men have a great one. It's gel based so it's not all greasy and sticky like other moisturisers.
Check it out at your local pharmacy. It's about 5 pound at boots.
What do you use the lotion for?
If it is for spots or dry skin your best course of action is to have a word with your local pharmacist who would be able to advise you.
If it is just to moisturise then you could try nivea for men or skin so simple or, well there are a lot out there and it would just be trial and error as to what you feel works best for you.
My son uses nivea for men and swears by it.
Cocoa butter is a good option, but the question really depends on the purpose of the lotion. Are you using it as an aftershave lotion, or to keep your skin from drying out, or to soothe windburn/chapping/et cetera? I also recommend Aveeno if you have dry skin, that is a good one, and as for aftershaves, I'm afraid you're on your own.
If you find that the lotion you're currently using makes you prone to acne breakouts, look for lotions that say ';non-comodogenic'; on the side of the bottle... that means that it will not clog your pores.
NIVEA IS BEST.
