How do I get my teenage daughter health insurance if she has been turned down by a insurance company already?

Is she still a minor? If so, call the local health department about your state's program for uninsured children - she should qualify. Ask them about income limitations and explain about your problems with getting coverage for her.

Would you mind giving us reasons the insurance company

gave you for denying coverage? Depending on the reason(s) why

I would recommend a different type of plan, see below.
I don't know what state you live in or why she was turned down, but I had to also obtain health insurance for my teenage daughter. We live in California and did not qualify for any type of Cobra plan extensions, etc. I ended up going through a broker and she's covered under Blue Cross now. Granted, it was $122 per month and now is $133 per month. But it's only a $10 co pay and I have a peace of mind that she's covered. I would check out state sponsored programs and if it applies, a Cobra extension plan. Good luck!

The only other avenue is that you, her or her dad go to work for a company that automatically covers you within a certain time frame.
Did you check with your employee benefit package? Most of them will insure children.
