What are you views on teenage sex?

I've noticed ALOT of things about teenagers having sex and getting preagnant latley. What do you guys think of it?What are you views on teenage sex?
I like it. But I don't take any chances with pregnancy. I got me plenty of condoms and keep em handy.What are you views on teenage sex?
I think its always happened and it always will. Sometimes there is just more stuff in the news about it, which makes people more aware, but its going on all the time. Its inevitable. I think its silly when teenagers 14 and under and having sex, because they are still children, but like I said before, its near impossible to stop. I think the government and media should stop saying ';gosh, all these teenage pregnancies!'; and work on ways of stopping it happening, and teaching teenagers that if they are going to do it, to do it safely. A less embarrassing way to get hold of protection might be a good idea too.
I believe that every one should wait until they are married to have sex. I am 15 and I decided that I want to wait until I am married. I think that way because you will know someone loves you if they are willing to wait, nice enough to want to wait until you are ready, and they don't try and convince or preasure you in to having sex, but for those who do have sex as a teenager or aren't married thats fine. You obviously have different views and people What ever a person decides to do they shouldn'd be judged by it.
Humans reach sexual maturity at about the age of thirteen. We are biologically programed to reproduce. In old times it was not a problem since most people married at this age. The industrial revolution and urbanization made this impractical. It replaced the traditional extended farming family with a smaller nuclear family unit.





A family patriarch needed more education, which took longer, before he (and even today, it is mostly he) could make enought to support a family. In extended familys, thirteen year old girls having children was not a problem since they lived in the same unit with their mothers, who could teach them about raising children.





In the modern age, we reach sexual maturity long before we reach the economic maturity required to raise a family without the help of an extended family. This produces tensions that lead to tragedy because of many people who teach that the Nuclear family is traditional. (only in the last hundred years is this true)





These people tell you that abstinence is the only proper path. It is by far the safest, but expecting even a slight majority to go along with it is going against nature.
I have no problem with teenage sex, as long as it is safe, consensual, and mutually respectful. Pregnancy does tend to complicate things, which is why I think it's important to educate teenagers about safe sex, and that if you're too young to have sex responsibly, you're too young to be having sex at all.
My 15 year old friend 'claims', that she is pregnant. I know she is LYING, and that she just wants attention. Which to be perfectly honest, is stupid.


I nearly slapped her earlier when i caught her with a cigerrete in her mouth, if she 'claims' to be pregnant why would she do that to her feutus?





I won't be getting pregnant, because I am gay. I think it would be very hard, but I must admit a lot of teenagers are open about having sex.


My grandma had this discussion with me once, her parents nor her school had ever taught her how babies were made. And the same for my grandfather and when they got down to buisness on there wedding night they had no clue how to.





I am glad they figured that one out.

There seems to be a lot more media attention on the fact that we (generalising) are having sex all the time when in fact, its only a minority.


The rest are just so controlled by what they 'should' be doing i.e having sex, that a lot of teenagers just make it up or do it to 'fit in'.


Personally, I think that it shouldn't be wasted and that you only get to lose your virginity once (or twice), so should be very important and with the right person.

I don't think people should have sex until they are mentally, emotionally and financially ABLE to support a child. Even safe sex can result in pregnancy. Reproduction is the natural, biological reason for having sex, regardless of how much we enjoy it as a recreational thing.
Well i had my first child when i was 18 and a second at 21 im 22 now didnt have a job at the time but now i have my own house and a decent job it gave me a kick up the **** to do something with my life so i could support bmy kids and u dont need money to have kids as long as they are looked after.
Think that many of them will have regrets in the future.


It is sad that so many young people will never be able to experience one of lifes greatest experiences in having sex for the first time with somebody who you truly love.
well im 15 and the first time i had sex was when i was 13. tbh i didnt really know the guy he was 15 i think...


that kinda put me off sex for a while..but now all me and my mates talk about is sex..my parents dont know they havent actually got a clue what we do now... lol

I think that many of them don't have a clue as to what they are doing and should have more education before altering their lives and a child's life forever. I also think that many of them will have some sort of regrets later in life.*
i think people don't have the proper sex ed and so are stupid about sex.

USE CONDOMS. ... not so hard jeeze, u can buy at any age from gas stations, gorocery stores, drug stores.
what ever. Its their own problem. well i guess 16 and up is okay but no younger. let them have fun.
