Do anyone know any good teenage books that was set in the mid or late 60s or early 70s?

i need a good book for myself to read. i want a book that talks about how high school was in to swinging 60s and with hippies and stuff or the whole mod scene in london, like a book from the movie to sir with love, since im a teenager i need to know a good teen book. so anyone know any? i already know The OutsidersDo anyone know any good teenage books that was set in the mid or late 60s or early 70s?

Bob Green knew in high school he wanted to be a journalist so he kept a journal for one year as an exercise. He through the journal in a box and later grew up went to college and became a columnist for one of the major papers in Chicago. He found the journal one day and went ahead a published it. It's very poignant and the references to the time period are priceless. He talks about the first time the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan show and all his teenage worries and angst.Do anyone know any good teenage books that was set in the mid or late 60s or early 70s?
The Seventeenth Summer is really good, I believe it's either set in the late 50's, early 60's. It's a romance, but it's nicely writen.
