What do you think about teenage sex in the UK?

Imagine becoming a dad at the age of 13 ?What do you think about teenage sex in the UK?
Oh right, i think its SICK a parent at 13 and even the mother @ 15, thats a bit stupid, i feel sorry for the baby! What do you think about teenage sex in the UK?
I think that although teenagers are told, there isn't time nor money for them to get protection against pregnancy so that's why there is a rise. It's taught and you take an interest but there is no protection offered locally. I think that schools should supply free protection. This would solve the problem. I can hardly afford condoms and can't get to a clinic that supplies them for free, so it is hard for teenagers to say no to sex, who can say no to sex, especially when you love someone. It's a lack of solutions to the potential problem that have caused the rise, its like giving someone a disease then telling them there's no cure.
I dont believe in abortion, but i DO believe that the underage should be made to have them, or be made to give their baby away. Im not saying all teen parents are bad parents, but most of the underage, including people between 16-19, have the WRONG atttitude about it. A lot of these girls are DELIBERATLY getting pregnant to either ';get free money'; to ';get their own place'; to ';look good with their friends'; etc etc... As for the recent headlines with alfie the 13yr old baby faced dad, he dont know what he's got himself into. Why do you think theres such a hype in the media in the first place.... maybe cos the families need the cash to pay for baby masie... which AGAIN is something tax payers are forking their hard earned money on.

I DO however, in a way, blame the parents and the education system. For those of you who have left school, even those who have just had their sex ed at school. Ask yourself this? What DID they teach you exactly?

I learnt nothing in sex ed at school, but thanks to my mum an then step dad, sitting me down at the age of 9 to tell me ALL THE GORY DETAILS.... I was one of them in my year that DIDNT end up a teen mom, DIDNT end up with the unwanted reputation as a slag, and at 25, am proud to say that i have NEVER contracted an STI or STD.

Everything about sex should be taught every year of secondary school life from 11-16. Everything from how to have a good sex life, how NOT to hurt the one physically that you're having sex with, what contraceptions are available, how you take them, what are the side effects, how does it affect fertility in later life. How condoms can split, what infections are out there. How else can you catch STI like infections that arent sex related, such as BV which women can get from using washing powder, or perfumed bath products... What the signs are you may have an STI, where to go to get it treated, what to expect during the exam, what the medications are to treat them and their side effects. EVERYTHING associated with sex should be explaioned and in great detail from year 7 to leaving school. To ensure ALL teens have ALL the information they may possibly need, even for after they've left school. Including pregnancy in detail, like morning sickness, blood tests, scans, even giving birth. Show a teenage girl a screaming woman giving birth, and tell me if she'll make sure she dont get pregnant.

MORE RESPONSIBLE AND DETAILED EDUCATION PLEASE!!
I think nothing of it.

You have to be naive and blind to assume that British youth are not teen parents. They just do like Americans- characterize it as a problem for the ';poor'; and ignore it until one of ';their own children'; ends up pregnant. I know there are thousands of pregnant teens but no one cares about them.
I think its a lot of fun, and the source of all my sex, seen as i am an English teenager. But becoming a dad at 13 is pretty heavy, he should have been a great deal more careful.
fathers should be made to take full financial responsibility. Under 16 responsibilty should fall on his parents, the mother should not be able to claim child allowance or grant until she is 18
It happens and has been happening all over the world since the beginning of time.
well st least we know england is getting prepared for a long war.
