I am trying to encourage a teenage girl to to more exercise and i need a bit of help?

She doesn't like sport, i have thought of dog walking and the wii-fit.

Any others please?I am trying to encourage a teenage girl to to more exercise and i need a bit of help?
dance off revolution. psp game. its called something like that and i lose 5 pounds not even planning to.I am trying to encourage a teenage girl to to more exercise and i need a bit of help?
mm.. how about things like a trampoline, and swimming (lose alot of weight), think of her other interests.. depending on her personality she'll like different things, if she's more creative she might prefer more creative sports and fun type, if she's not as girly she might like kickboxing.

just say it to her in a way thats not too obvious, i don't think she'd like to hear about losing weight as that'll just put her off.

hope i've helped and good luck:)
How about dance classes? I know when I was a teenager I loved dancing. She could go with friends so it is more of fun day out than exercise.

You have to find out her interests and see what would suit her best, she may like kick boxing and this is good for boosting self esteem as well as weight loss. She may want to go for long walks in different areas to explore the countryside. Find out her interests and see what would suit her best!

Good luck
Horseback riding, rock climbing, walking the dog, and kick boxing are all sports I like, and I'm like her, I don't like regular sports like soccer and baseball. Also dance is really fun for me.
How about dance lessons, or swimming.
slounds like she's one of those depressed, stay home all day emo kids. Drop subtle hints that she's fat and out of shape. She'll secretly begin exercising, but she'll do it alone so you don't know you won.
Pocket money!
ice skating?
Bike riding with friends
Dancing is a good form of exercise.
Tell her that exercise makes her boobs bigger
carrot and stick..........take away all the other things she enjoys....xbox......computer...tv.......鈥?money......kids today dont know they are born and parents are complicit in allowing them to be lazy
teenagers are really self-concious (I should know) so basically say to her that she is ';fat'; or something similar and then she would feel self-concious and out of the crowd and that will be her motive!
As a teenage bodybuild Who used to hate all forms of exercise I know how it is. Infact I dont blame her untill your in the shape of your life runing around and lifting weights will just make you tired.

To encourage a teenage girl instead of telling her what you want which is her to play a sport why dont you try telling her what she wants abs boyfriends possible modeling career energy thin the list goes on and on. She doesnt even have to do a sport she could just be fit and focus on her body. There is nothing wrong with going for a casual bike ride and then going for a walk. Exercise is exercise plus thats probably much safer. Maybe she might even like weights try out a gym many places will let you have a guest pass to try it out. Bodybuilding would be great for her confidence and her body and she might like because it can give her that perfect bikini body you see on those mags. But those are much more than a little exercise try 2 45 min cardio sessions plus weights and diet. But she could do that that takes about as long as most sports practices anyway 2 hours a day plus 1 hour meal planning isnt bad at all.
shes obviously fat (unless you want her to exersize excessivley that would be bitchy of you) so justtake her to the gym
